MSDS sheets for chemicals??

For the mobile guys, do you carry MSDS sheets with you for your chemicals?? With all the water laws and greenpeace people around, is it a good idea. Is it a requirment??
 
My feelings on this subject is that. If you want to be professional and in compliance, you should carry M.S.D.S. sheets with you. Just think when you do grow you will already have them in place. Don't forget to update them regularly, and as Grouse said when ordering chemicals ask for the sheets,make two copies,one with you and one for your office. Hope this helps.

I have being carrying my msds sheets with me in my car for a while now.I have never being asked for them by anyone but you never now when one of the authorities will want to see them so i'll be ready.

where I live it is the law. In case you were to get in an accident you must show the firefighter or cops the sheets so they know what they are dealing with.
 
Good point r wain i didn't really think about what happens in an accident.It could be real bad for the emergancy people not knowing what they are dealing with.

Thanks guys! I just bought a binder last night and I am starting to collect the sheets on every chemical i have.

Put them in page protectors to keep them arranged and neat. You might want to sort them out according to use.. cleaners, degreasers, waxes, etc.
