Im thinking of moving from PC to rotary. I was very pleased with my PC. But i think i needed something more aggressive to remove paint defects that the PC cannot. I have random scratches on my black car that the PC couldn't touch. I've used foam cutting pad with either DACP or Intensive polish and didn't do anything. Im looking forward to purchase either the dewalt or the makita rotary. Which one do you guys prefer? Also, can someone give me the advantages and disadvantages of a rotary vs PC? Thank you.

I'm in the same boat, will have my practice fenders to start practicing on very shortly now. First up, PI III MG with a white polishing LC pad. I'll work on gtting the feel for it and see hwhat's like polishing along edges. I'll try to even burn the paint just so I know what not to do
