Motorcycle detail advice?

One of my clients has two Harley's that they want to get cleaned up. They have been abused, neglected, etc. The chrome is pitted and rusted. Can it be fixed or improved? The paint looks decent, but really dusty. Any suggestions?

wow. that chrome is dying!!!



check out the wheel and motorcycle polishing kits at TOL. they also have a lot of nice metal polish kits. i just picked up the English Custom Metal polish kit. looks like really good stuff.

dusty bikes- easy!

blow them off, wash very well.





pitted chrome- bad news.

If you can, show the owner a test spot of how the chrome will come out before you do anything to the bike. Many Hog riders are chrome happy- If the chrome does not look right the bike is not clean.
