Motor Swap Complete. . .

Those worm clamp can hold? I think T-clamp its much better. I have too much experience with worm clamp.....freaking hose was poping left and right.

yah, someone else mentioned the t-clamps. . .I got a few other things to take care of first, but they will come soon. . .

Should make for a pretty quick car!

BTW, you ever see the articles in Turbo where they swapped the Camry V6 into a Mister 2?

I have seen that. A lot of people on the MR2 board ar actually doing it.

While it's a bad *** swap, it's not my cup of tea. I like turbo's. . .

Totally awesome. If you don't mind what did it set you back?

the entire swap was around 4K, give or take. All in all, since I've had the car last year, i've dropped about 6K pm parts in anticipation of the swap, plus break down reapairs last summer and new rubber all around too. . .

not too bad IMHO. . .and worth every penny!

Took out the ugly black x-brace and added this chromed OEM one.

I used some Mothers Chrome polish on it and the other chrome pipe in the pic just before taking this photo

I'm gonna be powdercoating a few things under the hood in the next few weeks, so I'll post more pics. . .gotta make it show worthy, you know?

Did some more work on the motor last night. . .

Not a huge deal going on here, but I did straighten out my AFM (the mr2oc.com guys were freaking out about it) and I sanded off the "Toyota" to be silver.

Nice deal on the cap! Looks like I missed the event...but I had no ride anyways. If I can get a hold of one of my buddies, I'll come for the next one.
