Thursday I picked up my car from PA Auto Racing in Souderton, PA. They imported and installed a JDM Turbo motor for my MR2. Here's a list of what was done/upgraded to the car:

Clip came in with an intake (Greddy I think)

ARC Blow Off Valve

Greddy Exhaust

I provided these upgrades (on the car now)

Polyurathane Motor Mounts

Water Pump

Timing Belt

Misc Other Engine Belts

Plugs

Cap

Rotor

All new fluids

Upgraded to a CT20B JDM version only turbo

OEM Turbo gague cluster

Aluminum Engine Cover shroud with dual puller Spal fans

Blitz Full-Action Turbo Timer

Chrome "cold" intercooler pipe

Valve cover came powdercoated red

Stage 3 clutchmasters clutch

Still to be installed:

TRD Wires

Boost Gauge

Manual Boost Controller

Fuel Cut-Off Defense

ARC intercooler

Chrome OEM rear strut brace (ugly faded black one installed)

polished "hot" IC pipe

Red 4 piece Turbohoses.com turbo/IC/TB hoses

I think that's it for now.

some pics of the car and the shop

More and better pics will come later, as the car is flithy and it's nowhere near Autopian standards. My plan for the day is to clean her up and take pics.

What increase in power would you expect and do you need to upgrade the suspension and brakes as well

A USDM turbo motor puts out about 200hp at the crank.. As is, with the intake, exhaust and upraged turbo, I'd wager that I'm closer to 220~230HP right now at stock boost levels. When I dial up the boost, I expect to have another 10-15 hp more.

I'm also running on stock springs but KYB AGX 4 way adjustable struts, so the suspension is about 50% done. . .

Brakes are also upgraded to the turbo ones in the rear. the fronts are the same size, NA or Turbo for a 93 and the rears are just a tad bigger on the turbos.

Enough talk, here are pics from Saturday that I took before and after cleanup.

After cleanup which included washwith Gold Class shampoo and a wiping down with #34 on the paint. Tire Wet on the tires and wheel wells, #0000 steel wool & glass cleaner on the muffler tip and body and a wiping down of the motor with 1:10 SG the same tire wet on the hoses

Just misc cleaned up shots . . .

The car has approx 4 coats of NXT Tech wax on her since last summer and tons of #34 and regular QD. . .that's pretty much it

the ARC blow off valve is very quiet. . .maybe cuz I'm still breaking in the clutch and have to stay under 4K RPM or cuz its only at 10 psi now (but barely hits that)

It has a high pitched "sneeze" sound as appossed to a woosh. Not Semi-like at all, just clean and simple sounding. . .

Very nice N/A then.

Can you put dual can(mufflers) instead of one? I bet it cost a arm and legs for dually mufflers.

Any plans for new wheels? I think wheels would set the whole car off perfectly.

wheels are probably not gonna happen anytime soon. I've got some more upgrades taht I wanna do before then and the wallet is suffering right now. . .

More stuff added in the last 2 weeks since she's been home:

TRD Spark Plug Wires

red turbohoses.com hoses kit with new clamps

added an "attempted polished" charge pipe to the IC

I polished up the aluminim shroud on the engine cover (using meguiars mag and aluminum polishe with a PC and wool pad)

Added yellow lamin-x film from www.rockblocker.com to the OEM fog lights and installed them

Soon the extra charge pipe will be sent out to be polished and the x-brace will be swapped with a chromed one and the "TOYOTA" on the valve cover will be sanded off and polished

Tomorrow the car goes to the body shop to get the drivers side door damage repaired and all the black side moldings and bottom edge pieces will get colormatched.

I used an aluminum polish to bling up the shroud over my engine, attached to my engine cover. . .
