24 isn't fair. I knew my street bike Ninja would be faster than those purpose-built motorcycles but when I set the lap record, they DQ'd me....

It's on FoxSports1....
In the meantime, go home and watch FASTER and FASTEST on Netflix... It is mandatory!!!!!
If Lorenzo made it over 1 lap he'd have to deal with Pedrosa too.
I don't think Jorge ever worries about Pedrosa. Jorge had 8 wins last year to Pedrosa's 3. Jorge has 2 World Titles Pedrosa has 0 and has been in MotoGP for 9 long years now. The only one Jorge worries about now is Mr. Marquez. Lets see how this season goes.

I think Jorge always worries about Pedrosa, the guy has been the runner up for the title a number of times and was a contender for the title last year up until the penultimate race. He has the most race wins of any GP rider without being a champion and he almost always finishes on the podium.
It was an interesting race, but if Rossi can't beat Marquez with a broken leg than Rossi will never win another World Title again. IF Jorge stayed on his bike Rossi would have finished third at best. Sorry gang not a Rossi fanboy here. He lost me at Ducati which will remain a dark stain for him.
I'm already looking forward to Round 2. April 13th in Texas.
Me too! Makes me want to look into getting tickets again. :rockon
The Yamaha's were having tire-specific issues with this race course. The fact that Rossi over came these issues, when Lorenzo didn't, and ran neck and neck with Marquez on the superior (at this track) Honda says a lot. The fact that he was able to make the softer tires last as long as Marquez's harder compound was even more impressive, as Rossi was the smoother rider for the entire race.
Yes, the Ducati thing was a dark stain, on Ducati. They get the greatest rider of all time, the guy who built the M1, and refuse his technical advice, reflected poorly for Ducati's arrogance in the sport. Very few people blame Rossi's performance on the Ducati on Rossi, as Ducati struggled once they went back to 1000cc machines.
I don't think that Rossi will win another title, but it was good to see him racing aggressively and keeping up with the current GP champ.
