I think they make superb products that are seriously underrated. For many, they lack the "cool" factor because you can get them easily. But performance wise, they give a run for the money to more hyped and expensive products. In fact, the new reflections line teaches some tricks to more "reputable" rivals.

I know you can get the stuff online, but if I can get most of their stuff OTC, why can't they just make Reflections OTC also. I guess in a sense, they've given it the "cool" factor by making it harder to come by.

I like Mother's Clay, Showtime and Cali Gold wash. They are good bang for the buck products. I can pick up Showtime for $4.99 when it's on sale at my local auto store. And that's the 20 oz. bottle !

All of Mothers products are great . The FX and Reflections are outstanding.
I like some of mothers products like their mag polish, California Gold carnuba (both cleaner and pure), chrome polish, clearcoat wheel polish, QD. They make product thats up to par, but some of their products are just ordinary like their shampoo, wheel cleaner, protectant. I used their Hot Wheel wax and actually think original carnuba cleaner looks better and last just as long. I have not tried reflections, but if it has the durability of Hot Wheel then I'll pass. The Pure carnuba is a nice product, but at $17 I could buy S100 at a Harley shop and get better results. I find that step 1 & 2 of their polish is really just a strong chemical cleaner that does not remove much defects. Now that they have power polish I would consider it for polishing, but I have a ton of #83,#80, IP, FP, 1Z stuff that I don't need to buy more stuff. Yes Mothers stuff is excellent prodcust for locally available stuff, but just like Megiuars some stuff is great others are average. Use what works for you.

I just went to PepBoys today to look into the PowerPolish and, lo and behold, what do I see right behind the old Reflections bottle? The new Reflections wax! At $18 a bottle it's a little more expensive than NXT, but if it is better, it will be worth it. I'm not a big fan of NXT.

Mothers PowerPolish is a versatile easy to use moderate priced item. FX tire shine is another winner. New Reflections is about the best you will find OTC.

I agree...highly under-rated, IMO. Some are better than others but none are bad, and the majority are under-promised and over-delivered.

Mother's is a good, safe to use and easily available wax. I am a veteren of their cg system. While it isn't the best wax in terms of overall depth, color rendition, clarity, etc., it is still a good performer, and it can produce a carnauba quality finish.
Mother's CG pre-wax cleaner, polish and cleaner wax are also very good products.
