Mothers Reflections Tire Care Review

Today was another gorgeous New England winter day with lots of sun and 42 degrees...almost t-shirt weather!! :props:

One of my Christmas products has been itching to be tested and today was the day for it.

Product: Mothers Reflections Tire Care
Type: Spray
Size: 24oz
Price: $7.99

I thoroughly washed my wheels with P21S Wheel Cleaner and the tires with Meguiar's Super Degreaser diluted 4:1.

A few shots of a clean but very dull and lifeless tire and wheel.

Mothers Reflections Tire Care sprays on looking milky but one thing I was impressed with was the sprayer and spray pattern. This product covers easily and and its scent is pleasant on the nose.

After allowing the product to sit for a few minutes I wiped the excess product and which evened out the look if the tire leaving a deep rich satin black. Mothers Reflections Tire Care was very easy to use and is reportedly to keep your tires looking great for "weeks and weeks"...

  • Easy to use
  • Performs as described
  • Cost to the consumer is attractively priced at $7.99
  • Can be purchased online or locally at many stores.

Mothers offers a fine line of reasonably priced detailing products that produce outstanding results. For some reason it doesn't receive the attention and notoriety as some of the "boutique" products offered at 5 times the price but it's results always tell the tale...

You owe it to yourself to try this product, you won't be disappointed....:props:

Nice review Bobby. I know this time of the year is pretty harsh on just about everything but will be interested in the durability.

Thanks for the review Bobby. I've always liked Mothers products, and have wanted to try the reflections line for some time now.

It is a favorite of mine. You can adjust the sheen like many but how you apply. If you want the most matte you would spray on an applicator and then spread. You can also wipe it down (I rarely do) to adjust it as well.

Nice review Bobby. Another OTC product that is often missed. The whole Mothers Reflections line is great.

Great review!

I feel like Mothers is overlooked for no good reason. Almost wonder if it's the bottles. They don't really stand out next to Meguiars.

No doubt they make great stuff though.

You may have a point about the products not standing out.

I was looking at their 2012 product catalog and noticed they changed the labels on the california gold products, and changed to black sprayers and caps on some of their lines.

Wow! Looks great Bobby! Thoses BFG's look awesome on your Dakota! I may have to give this product a shot....cheap enough and the results you showed look extremely nice. Thanks for posting buddy!

Great review, Bobby!

42F and T-shirt weather!? You New England guys are hearty. It was 65F here and I had one of those special "warm" material long sleeve undershirts and a turtleneck.

In my area, no OTC place carries the Reflections line except Pep Boys and they only carry the Wax. Most carry some from the California Gold or FX brands

There is a small local auto parts chain with a store near me that carries almost everything Mothers makes. I say almost because they don't carry the brushes or towels, and I could never find Tire & Rubber Cleaner - I do believe it is discontinued now.

I was amazed when I first walked in. They even carry Showtime in the 24oz. size.

Looks like ArmorAll when sprayed on and the results look the same.

Do you spray and let dry? I spray an applicator then apply it to the tire, and I have never had it look remotely like Armor all. Just a nice new looking black.
