Mothers QD and a Black Light

I replaced the CPV valve on my BMW M. It wasn't leaking - but "sweating".

Anyway, this is a common upgrade on BMW S54 motors. ECS tuning sells a viton o-ring. The repair is a huge PIA - but I won't go into details here.

So, since BMW M uses Castrol Professional Oil, I bought a black light to check for leaks.

No leaks. But Castrol Professional oil has a UV dye in it.

Oil looks like this under a BL:

Anyway, I realize this is going nowhere. But, I washed my car after and used some Mothers QD to dry it. I got it for free and was surprised how good it was.

Then, I realized black lights show paint pretty good in the dark.

Mothers QD is pretty nice.

OK.. Usually I don't ask what the acronym means BUT
what is a CPV valve? I have no idea. Can't find it online.
Thanks
