Is it possible to layer this stuff? I mean will it work and add more protection with each layer?

Forrest form Mothers has mentioned that a second coat would be good for ensuring thorough coverage, and you may notice a difference in looks, but you don't get a full 2 coats worth of protection from applying 2 coats. You would get longer lasting results applying the second coat a few weeks later.



Overall, from what I remember, you might get "better" looks, but the durability won't be that much greater.

That's just about true with anything, may not be 2x as thick, but you do make sure you get a even coverage. I've used the stuff myself, and still do on "beaters (aka fiancee's car)", and have noticed that two coats gives me about 6 to 8 weeks protection. Which is quite astounding for being parked outside 24/7...
