Mothers Professional Products?

I haven't, but I recall several comments from others who've used them speaking well of them.

Someone else suggested Mothers bought out a quality pro polish brand (the name escapes me) and re-packaged it as their own. :nixweiss

Might have to look into this. I was never a fan of Mothers products. Always found them to be really sub par to most other brands lining the same self as them. However I thought the same thing of Mequires as well until I tried out their Pro line stuff and realized I was missing out on some really good products. I've heard of Mark-V but I've never used them. How are they compared to some of the other stuff out there?

I haven't used their professional products but based on how good their OTC products are, I am sure they are quite good.

Mark-V have some nice compounds and polishes, thats for sure.

Now Mothers has as well. Although, PowerPolish was a great consumer polish that didn't get much airplay on Autopia.

We don't have mothers in Sweden, but I have been testing out Mark-V and I realy like their MV 350 quick kut, Uno, IP200 and Glisten.

Mother's now owns Mark V. I personally believe that Mark V make the best detailing chemicals on the market. They also make imposter versions of 3M's excellent compounds at a fraction of the cost.

John Kleven

So user name metropolitandet is "John Klevin", who was banned almost two years ago, and user name JohnKleven is also "John Kleviin"?

Is this the same 'Glisten'?

PowerPolish was a good finishing polish. It would continue to be a great choice but sadly can't be found OTC.

It *does* finish out very nicely, although, I found it could do correction on soft clears with an orange pad equivalent to #83. It was a pace-setter in consumer-grade correcting polishes.

I wonder what product in Mark-V:s arsenal who is equivalent to Mothers Powerpolish?

Might it have come out before Mark V was acquired? :nixweiss
