thanks for the compliments. I was detailing an X-5 and the owner was the manger of a car accessory shop (rims, car care, etc). He gave me four different bottles so I can sample them. There were two different types of compounds, one for regular paint and one for "Hard" paint. Then there are two polishes, one for light and one for dark cars, then there is the final wax. I have used the final wax before and durability was good. I was told that they were designed for the rotary but I used the PC on 6. The paint feels very slick after the polish and even slicker after the final wax. I really like the products and will not hesitate to ues them again. It was very easy to use.
Process
1.) washed the car with regualr car wash
2.) used the megs cutting pad with the Rubbing Compound for hard paints. I spread it out and turned the pc on 4 to spread then worked it up to 6 till it was almost gone.
3.) polished with the polish for dark paints with a megs polishing pad, worked it in at 6 till almost gone.
4.) Final wax with the megs finishing pad.
I didn't even try to do the headlights. I did not have enough time. I spent all morning doing the interior. The owners were too ecstatic to even car about the headlights, they were about to have the car painted. Thanks again.
