after doing a bit of experimenting, i tried this wax on the windows of a few different cars, and it worked great

i picked this because it has light abrasives in it to remove oxidation, but its still a wax so it will look good and protect the window, and it worked very well (i did it by hand), is there any reason to why this wouldnt be a good idea?

Well, I would not use it on windshields, it could cause smearing.

Also, if your clean your windowns often, the wax won't last long. The solvents in the window cleaner will dissolve the wax in no time.

i was just testing on this, and i dont clean my windows very much because windex sucks and i smear it all over the place, and doing it this way, the mirrors look 10x better than i could do with windex

g2 the store and get yourself some eo 20/20 or stoners invisible glass. Spend the 4 bucks for a quality glass cleaner. Windex will hurt your windows on your car, chances are, the glass is tinted from the factory, and you don't wanna use a product that isn't supportive of tinted windows. Use a glass cleaner with no ammonia, even sprayaway will do.

Tinted "factory" glass isn't a window film like aftermarket tint. Factory tint is acutally made into the glass itself, in which case you can use just about anything on it.

You need to be careful with "tint safe" cleaners on aftermarket window films, not actual factory tinted glass.

ever see a car with purple tinted windows?? guess what, they used an ammonia based cleaner...

Guess what, it isn't factory tinted glass either. It's window film.

If you're up here in Canada, just wait until Canadian Tire has a sale on EO stuff and you can get a big bottle of 20/20 for just over $4. It'll last you longer than you think!

And I second everything SRL said. :up

If I want my windows really clean I clay bar them first, than use what ever you use, MF, newspaper ect, not one streak or film.

I use SIG and EO 20/20. I got a nice size bottle (not sure how big) of EO at Advanced auto for $2.99. I pay about $4.xx for Stoners.

where can i find stoners at?

I have found it at WalMart, Target, Auto Zone and Murrays here in Chicagoland. . .

your location is blank, so we don't know where you are at.

I tried Z, SG, AIO, waxes on glass they all work great with the exception of windshields... they all smear and haze a lot... stick to RainX or something...

Like several others have said: I just clay my windows, then Z2 them, then just dry with a MF after each wash. Including the windshield. Never any streaking/smearing.
