Mothers in Alberta

There are some Mothers products that I like that I can't purchase in Canada because they do not have a bilingual package. Clear Coat wheel Polish and Billet Metal Polish are two of these products.

Forrest why is it Mothers will not provide a bilingual package for some products but will for others?

We won't make the products in a bilingual package unless we get enough commitment to justify the extra cost and inventory.

Canadian Billet is coming (part #35106). It'll be on the shelves at Canadian Tire in a few weeks.

4DSC,

I asked the guy at the parts counter why Canadian Tire did not stock a lot of the products that they will order for you in the Keystone Catalog? He said that when you order from Keystone you are ordering from the U.S.A.. The stuff Canadian Tire stocks on the shelf is from a Canadian distributor. So if you order from Keystone it's no different than ordering from any of the online stores we order from now. You are importing it from the U.S. like when you order from CMA or Autopia Store.

Where did you see Billet Metal Polish for sale in Canada. I never have.
Steve, I'm not sure I believe that.... I just checked a box from something I had ordered from Keystone a while ago and it was shipped Purolator from "Keystone Canada Automotive" in Etobicoke Ontario to my local CT. Also, every time I've asked about something the counter person says they have to call some place in Ontario. I also know that the price I get quoted over the phone/at the counter is exactly what I pay when it gets here (no shipping, duty, etc etc). :nixweiss

I've seen Billet at Lordco (auto parts chain) here in BC. If you're desperate I could always mail out some to you if you pay for it...

4DSC,

Thats stange. I wanted to order a 1 gallon jug of Megs Gold Class car wash. The guy at the parts counter looked up the PN and quoted me a price. He then told me I had to pay shipping and whatever taxes and duty that were charged when I picked it up. I thought to myself this is no different than ordering from an online store so I didn't place the order and have not used the Keystone Catalog again. I am going to look into this.

As for the Billet Metal Polish I go over the border to get it and I grab some Gold Class at Target for $9.99 a gallon.

Did you read the post by Forrest in this thread about Billet Metal Polish coming to Canadian Tire. It sounds like it's not available in Canada yet but will be soon. Are you sure you have seen it at Lordco. Maybe they special order it or something.:nixweiss

I have no idea about the other things, but I am 100% sure it was Mothers Billet polish because of its distinctive look and this was when good reviews of it were coming out. I don't think they order stuff from the US like that, but don't know for sure...
