Mother's Foam Pad Polish

Last Saturday while purchasing some PC pads from a local detailing store I was given samples of Mothers Foam Pad Polish (FP2). I got a bottle for light paint and a bottle for dark paint. When I got home I decided to try it on the hood of my white Mustang Cobra and was very pleased at the results. It seemed to be a nice "finishing" polish or very mild cleaner would work nicely after SMR and before a polymer. Since I only had samples I called the store was informed that they don't carry Mothers products and were simply trying to get rid of extra product they had laying around.

My question is does anyone know where I can get more ofthis stuff? I checked their website and was unimpressed. Maybe Forrest will see this and offer some help!?:nixweiss

I thought about putting this thread in reviews, but I am really asking for info on where I can find this product. I just added a short "review" to let people know briefly about the product. Sorry don't want to mess up the "flow" around here.

KS - FP2 is a similar product to 3M's 39009 and Meguiar's #9. It's a light polish used to remove swirl marks, spiderwebbing and other minor marring of the paint surface.

It is part of our Professional line, which is not sold at retail or on our website. We are still in the early stages of distribution with our pro line, so I'm carefully watching where it goes, so we can get feedback. Presently, we're selling it at selected distributors in the SE and on the West coast.

If you're interested in the product, (quarts and gallons) you can e-mail jim@mothers.com or call him at 800 221-8257, or let me know.

Thanks for the response Forrest. When I run out of the samples I'll give the gentleman a call to see about getting more. I have used the #9 and I like it but I feel that the FP2 would be much better suited if one intends to follow up with a polymer!
