Mothers Clear Coat Wheel Polish

Mothers states it designed specifically for wheels with a factory clear coat finish. I'm thinking about using it but before I do, I wanted to see if anyone else has used it and their opinion of it.
 
Bill D (IIRC) likes it lots.

According to Mothers, their Plastic Polish is more suited for the wheels than a regular paint polish because wheel CC is different than body CC. It's a "plasticized urethane," I guess. (Just what I've read. I haven't tried to verify it.)

I've used it (Wheel Polish) a few times, but never on any rims that I could do any follow ups on, so I can't say how well it lasts. It does, however, clean up the rim (after the proper washing) and leaves the rims looking shiny.
 
I guess it is discontinued.... but a replacement should be coming soon. This is the original wheel glaze / sealant.

Yes, you are right. I contacted Mothers and they told me this is the alternative. I found Clear Coat Wheel Polish at a local autostore. They had 6 bottles left. I bought 3.

Sure! It may be a while until I get to try it out. The weather has been a little on the cold side here in PA and very snowy for the past 2-3 weeks. This morning it was 0 degrees! :shocked Gotta love winter in the North!

LOL i feel your pain! It's cold here in NY too, but not that cold.......yet :scared:
