Mother's Cal Gold Pure Carnauba Paste; underappreciated thoroughbred?

I want in the Mothers pro line too, after all I am the guy who bought 60 bottles of Mothers glass cleaner:D 30 bottles of Gold wash:xyxthumbs :D

Please keep us informed, Forrest:wavey

I tried the Mother's California Gold Natural Paste Wax as a topper to Zaino. This had to be the the most difficult wax I ever applied and removed. I know carnauba wax in its natural state is extremely hard, so I guess this stuff really is natural and probably has a very low solvent content, if any. I definitely know my vehicle is protected after rubbing this stuff off, and it looks great.

-I wonder if warming it up a little would help ease the application?

waxman - warming the product up will ruin the blending, not make it easier to apply and remove.

It's a rare day I hear a complaint about hard to remove Natural Formula Wax - paste or liquid.

If applied with a damp applicator (I prefer to use an instant detailer instead of water), and put a thin coat on (light haze, not enough to turn the paint white), it wipes right off without any pressure.

The most common problems I've seen: applying too thick, applying in direct sunlight or to a hot surface, and leaving it on too long.

Are any of these possibilities?

I use Mothers pure Carnuba as a topper about once a month, both liquid and paste, I try to put it on thin and like Forrest says use a little Showtime.

It wipes right off with a MF, just one light pass with the MF and its off.

When I first started using it I thought more was better and when I put it on thick it was a lot harder to take off.

Hope this helps.

If I HAD to find a fault with this product, I would say that it dusted up a little bit, but that's something I get with all "heavy" paste waxes. It really isn't anything that I would call excessive. I'm a bit surprised you found this wax difficult to remove because my experiences have been the complete opposite.

I used to use this wax and as long as I put it on thin I felt removal was a breeze. I think that is the one constant with most products is that they have to go on very thin.
