NXT wash

Zaino Z18 clay

Zaino Z-PC Fusion via PC and polishing pad

Zaino Z2 Pro

Now that's one sweet looking car for so many reasons.

Good job on the detail. Nice pictures too.

good detail on the evo m8

is it perl like the 1`s we get over here in the uk and also u have done a good job on poor paint

done a phew evo`s now and i`m not inprest with the paint on these even the new evo9 has poor paint

but has i`ve said you have done a good job

thank god the owner switched to lancer tails, those stock chrome altezza style taillights dont look so good to me.

that first pic, my god, it looks so menacing! great job on the detail bud. any reason you chose the zaino treatment on black vs a slightly more common carnauba based process?

Thanks, everyone!

xtrememike - The paint does have a very cool blue pearl metallic effect in certain lights.

Overall, I was not impressed with the paint job. It had a fair amount of orange peel, and it had several areas of severe pitting with only 600 miles (they are replacing the hood for him).

Jay - I took the pictures.

Neothin - the owner requested Zaino, but honestly, I think it offers a very stunning look.

Great work, Zane!

That black looks stunning!

How is the paint on the Evo's? How do you like the Z-PC? Have you ever experienced an AWD launch? Its just shy of breathtaking in any thing under 13 secs.

Thanks, Sean.

Evo paint is pretty poor, IMO. It's not too difficult to work on though.

I like Z-PC pretty well. It's capable of removing moderate defects, but it finishes down very nicely. The trick for me was using much less polish than normal.

The back bumper of this car had some pretty good swirling - I used Optimum Compound with a polishing pad and worked it for a good while. When I removed it, it helped some, but not nearly enough. I switched to ZPC and a polishing pad, worked it for a couple of minutes, and the finish was nearly swirl-free (both via PC). Not a perfect test scenario setup but still a real life example.

I have not experienced an AWD launch, but I'm going to make him take me out...maybe even let me drive. He's about to upgrade the turbo, too, so it's going to be an 11 second ride for sure :D

did you get a newer camera cause i dont remember your pics coming out like that. No pun intended. Ive have a digital rebel and am trying to figure out how to not get so much exposure out of my shots. the pics look clean and mean. Exactly the look ive been trying to get. The borders are great!

I did get a new camera (7.2 mp Sony), but the shots were still taken in 'point-n-shoot' mode with a tripod. I had a better environment to take these...not my normal driveway shots.

The borders are a quick addition that really seem to finish things.
