Most expensive car wheels in the world?

Never been a fan of any APC (or one size fits all either)

SG has this to say about their product-

Is it safe to use Simple Green on aluminum?

http://consumer.simplegreen.com/cons_faqs.php

Simple Green products have been successfully and safely used on aircraft, automotive, industrial and consumer aluminum items for over 20 years. However, caution and common sense must be used: Aluminum is a soft metal that easily corrodes with unprotected exposure to water. The aqueous-base and alkalinity of Simple Green or Crystal Simple Green can accelerate the corrosion process. Therefore, contact times of All-Purpose Simple Green and Crystal Simple Green with unprotected or unpainted aluminum surfaces should be kept as brief as the job will allow - never for more than 10 minutes. Large cleaning jobs should be conducted in smaller-area stages to achieve lower contact time. Rinsing after cleaning should always be extremely thorough - paying special attention to flush out cracks and crevices to remove all Simple Green/Crystal Simple Green residues. Unfinished, uncoated or unpainted aluminum cleaned with Simple Green products should receive some sort of protectant after cleaning to prevent oxidation.

in HS we watched a video of simple green, when they had their pitch for nasa the owner drank it to prove to them it was safe.

Why would anyone drink a high alkaline cleaning product, most of all why do it as a demonstration to high school children (only in america)

The US Navair will not allow SG to be used on aircraft, period

I've always wondered about Lexani wheels. I live near them and always see truckloads of wheels going in and out of the neighborhood.

Now that I've seen their website I have to say I'm entirely unimpressed. They blather on about "style and elegance" while striking a lot of poses but they don't say squat about technology, manufacturing or performance.

All bling, zero substance and butt-ugly too. I guess I don't have to wonder any more.

PC.

i thought the hre wheels that i want for my audi are expensive. i got quoted at 4K for the set.

there is no reason to have those wheels though. i wouldnt feel comfortable parking my car with gold and diamonds in the wheels.

Thats why you don't park it, you give the keys to the valet so they can ;)

Sure I'll look after it. Just give me the keys to the Viper just in case someone steals the Escalade. You know...in case I need to chase them. :)

I'm torn between getting the AMG Monoblocks:

Or the AMG Pentas.

Regardless of which ones I eventually get, my wallet will be torn as well.

lexani's and asanti's aren't exactly the most expensive wheels in the world. honestly, kinda cheap in quality too IMO.

Glad to see that I am not the only one that feels the same way. I have seen a ton of fish eye and other imperfections.. Thanks it's not just me any more :)

Yeap, and TIS is just crappy China made wheels from American Racing.. But are lucky enough to have a great amrketing team behind them..

I have a friend that is a sales guy for a company that sells the equipment to manufacture car wheels. (primarily focused on the rapper style wheel) This is the first year the company sold this type of equipement (prior to this they sold pipe bending machines for exhausts) and he made $300,000 since August 05. These mass produced junks are just hitting the streets, wait until more people have the machines......
