Most expensive car wheels in the world?

I'm thinking the same thing. Why would you want to spend that much money on wheels? And where would you drive it when you have 24 carat gold and diamonds lining your wheels?

Those wheels look like copies of typical aftermarket chrome-plated bling that you can find in any import tuner magazine... except for the gold and diamonds, of course. They break no new ground, technology- or construction-wise, however.

But hey, if someone is willing to pay five figures for a can of wax, there must be a market for these things... :nixweiss

I like Fikse wheels, and they are expensive because they are built to the highest engineering standards. I still wouldn't buy a set, because with wheels you are only one unseen pothole away from disaster.

Did you see their "wheel care" section? They recommend a 50/50 Simple Green mixture to clean them! They do not recommend "off the shelf" wheel cleaners.

I don't know about you guys, but given all those great, dedicated gentle wheel cleaners, I'd never let SG touch my aftermarket wheels.

those most expensive rims look like the ADR's you can get on ebay for 800bucks. Those asanti wheels are stupid as hell. I dont know why you would put ostrich on your wheels. At first it was kinda cool looking on interior seats but now on wheels W T F! I saw a guy riding in a 98 explorer white that had LV graphics all over it in like font 1900 it looked stupid as hell. And he still had spiderwebs on it :).

The lexani site sucks, i remember when those wheels came out years ago. years later their rims still look like ****, but theyre charging an arm and a leg for them and i dont know why.

If i were going to get some wheels id get CCW or Forgeline wheels.

Man, why would anyone spend $250,000 on those lame wheels? A 5-spoke with diamonds and gold? 5-spokes are so '90s. And that VW wheel with diamond studded screws? Who would even know?

Now if they made a wheel where the spokes were actually the word "PIMP" in gold and covered with diamonds, then HELL YEAH!!! Especially if they included a thick-*** gold chain I could use to wear a 5th wheel hanging from my neck! Now that'd be worth a million dollars!!

not true at all, keeping proper pressure in the tires is the most important. Quality wheels are also key, my current set of wheels have been beat to DEATH for 4 years w/ 35 series tires and now finally one of them just bent cause I had a flat tire and hit a big dip. Fiske are strong wheels that can handle some abuse.

SG is very mild, a lot of us detailers here use it, most don't even dilute it much. I've been using it for years esp. on delicate wheels.

in HS we watched a video of simple green, when they had their pitch for nasa the owner drank it to prove to them it was safe.

There is a lot of guys here in Australia running Lexani rims.. they are not all that expensive. Like $2900 for 19's for rims and tyres.
