Most bling tire coating legal in Ca?

I really hate greasy looking tires, so disgusting. I use CG natural shine, and then buff it to a new look low gloss finish.

Just curious, seeing as most of the people that really like the greasy looking tires are not autopians, why do you want yours to look wet?

Dont get the grape that stuff is horrible. I still have 20ozs or so Im using up on wheel wells.

I dont know why it is that people are so scared of this stuff but it lasts forever and gives a great shine.

I was actually looking at this product...

I ended up going with the E1 product because it comes with the applicator:

Eagle One® Tire Detailer

I'm hoping it'll make my life a bit easier... but then again I know these bottle-applicators are new so i'll just keep my fingers crossed that it works well.

The AA comes with an applicator also. Plus all I use for an applicator is a $1 sponge from Walmart.

The E1 applicator is part of the gel container. Look at the image, you'll see what I mean.

Very funny, but every customer I have had so ar that thought they liked high gloss tires now likes the way I make them look better. I have not had one, ever, who saw them and wanted them higher gloss.

I get all the time "you know I thought I liked that greasy stuff they put on at the car wash but this is no much better".

can't agree with that. grape spreads very well and looks superb ime. it also dries to the touch very quick.

i have tried that aa product and the applicator will be destroyed after a few ridgid tires and the gel is a pita to remove on weekly wash customers. it also imo doesnt look close to as nice as grape.

why we talking about grape anyhow he said he can't have it:har:

All those foam appliators fall apart... thus why I went for the E1

WOW those pics are after one coat? I'm gonna have to give that a try after I finish my E1

I have the Grape from HiTemp (old non VOC) I love it for all the reasons VASuperShine said. I doubt I'll mess with the new VOC stuff, I found 2 very, very good tire dressings from Majestic Solutions that are cheaper and I can buy locally. The Duragloss Wet Look Tire shine is good but a lot more pricey and for me - doing a few cars a week, I'm looking for the best bang for the buck. The only tire dressing I dislike is Eagle One stuff, they make a good cleaner though. As I finish up my OTC cleaners/dressings I'm replacing all but Stoners Invisable Glass with stuff from Majestic.

+1 for Four Star Tire Gel.

Also, if you can find it locally, Automagic Dress It Right is really good stuff.

For real bling, without looking stupidly outrageous - NO TOUCH Seriously Wet Tire Shine works real nice.

TW Platinum Tire Gel is my tire coating of choice. Doesn't sling, lasts a long while, and looks great.

I like this stuff too and it is cheap if you can find it at Odd Lots for around $3. I can usually get 2 months on my cars that are parked outside 24/7. Remember to really wash the tire well, in fact wash once before washing car and wash again with the remaining suds from your bucket for the car. I like the turtle wax platinum line for its value. Its not more than a few dollars if you can find it at Odd Lots. Try their car wash, you get a gallon and a quarter for only $4, and it has tons of suds. Their leather cleaner and conditioner is very similar to Megs and their interior detailer is close to Armor All in performance and protection.
