I just got a rebel xt and Man it's great to be back to the SLR. I'm getting back in the swing but it's easy to use and I will downsize the pic's for everyone.

Nice pics. I wish my rides looked that clean.

They're covered head to toe in salt juice. It's too dam* cold to pull out the hose. As soon as it hits 32 or above I'm out there!

I was told that these pictures need to be smaller still I'm not sure what to say about that they are 800x500 pix what do you guys think?

Pat ,you can right click on the pic and choose properties. Look at dimensions for the size. If you have acdsee or similar softwares, they can do batch resize :)

You should be fine. I always post at 800x600 and never get xxxxxed at. Plus, the file sizes are very low. As long as they stay under 150k, there isn't usually much of a problem.

I was just screwing around at Staples and was looking at one of there high end digital camera on display that has more options than my old konica FS-1 SLR. Bayonet style lens removal is a "must have" option for the things i do/did.... Though my old SLR can still hold up to "some" of the cameras today it does not do digital....
what I'm hoping for is a digital camera that will retro fit my old lenses I have.
This camera i was playing with in Staples is the same one you just got...

what a sweet, sweet camera you have.

Ya I thought the same thing Because I had a number of lens for my pentax K1000 man that was a tank. Anways most of the cameras today have auto-focus lenses and your making your life easier with them.
