More minor bodywork

I know there isn't an engine up front to cushion the blow, but there is no way he was only doing 30.

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt in saying that MAYBE he was doing under 50. But I dunno. It's debatable.

See how its nothing but plastic and fiberglass. And maybe carbon fiber. I can see that happening at 30. Plus the fact theres no motor up front just adds to it.

You gotta think its not like he's hitting a flat wall. I wish i could find this vid on youtube of i guy doing like 20 down this side road in his truck. he decided to jump on the hood while going down the road and ends up crashing into a phone poll. The damage that happend to a truck will show you its possible for that to happen.

True... I think the front of that sucker is mostly carbon fiber.

If the car sustains that much damage at 30 what type of damage would it incur at 40,50 or 60.

I thought that new cars here in the states had to have bumpers than can withstand 15 or 20 MPH impacts.

I wish i had that kind of money to have it as a drop in the bucket.
Cars like that are desgined to be trashed in an accident. They are desgined to hit walls going a little faster then 30 but they will crumple and colapse like that the inpact dosnt go into the person. Its a conslty idea but if it saves lives i GUESS its worth it... dunno
