I always recommend you charge for what is needed to properly care for their vehicle. When you notice their car needs wax, recommend a wax. The customers who want their vehicles properly maintained usually won't mind the fact that their car needs correction work and wax every once in a while.

Most vehicles I do monthly are not too dirty, depending on how they are used. Obviously a car being detailed monthly, will be much cleaner than a car that is only cleaned twice a year. My monthly service is basically a wash and vacuum, and spray wax. It is a pretty thorough wash and vacuum by normal people's standards though. I charge around $60 for a sedan.
