Monte Carlo after repaint fix

This very low mileage car was brought in because the body shop said it was the best it could be? All correction and refinement done with the Griot’s fast correcting cream and perfecting cream, using the 15 with microfiber pad and finishing pad. 3 inch and 2 inch pads using the Griot’s 6 inch machine and Rupes I brid.
I think we made a slight improvement before coating with Modesta bco8. Thanks for looking!

Hold on I don’t think that’s the same car lol.

That Modesta, even though pro-only, intrigues me. Kinda a bit off the mainstream but a quiet, impeccable reputation.

Difficult to use?

Thought I read somewhere that it definitely takes some skill to use.

Mike !
This is how Black Paint should look every time it is professionally Detailed..
It is too bad that Body Shops are not able to allocate the $$$ needed to get to this level and do not support this level of work anymore..
I can guarantee you when I worked last in a couple of Shops, all the vehicles that went out the door were close to that level all the time.
We just didn`t have the incredible light-years-ahead pads and chemicals to get that level of clarity back then..
You are killing it, Mike !
Thanks for this !

Love your Avatar ! :)
I am also wanting to hear more about Modesta..

I DO know that one of the BEST Detailing Shops in San Antonio, Texas has been using it with awesome results since it first came out.
And they do not mess around with anything but the absolute BEST products that yield the BEST results..

Thanks guys, Modesta has a bit of a learning process depending on which one. We are very close to only offering Modesta, nothing looks like it!

Great Work Mike, this was a nice save. I am glad they were able to find you. I have a fear on poor finishing jobs that often times customers will take the body shops word for it and be left with a finish that is sub par.

Prior to learning about detailing I had a bumper replaced and painted and ended up with work that was sub par, at the time I didn`t know it. 4 years ago I had a black car that had to get a panel repainted, I compounded and polished it since it also came back and was not properly finished out.
