I see a lot of these young whipper snappers are using money clips now, so I wonder what is wrong with a good leather wallet? I have heard that wallets can throw off your alignment or whatnot, but I try to keep mine as slim as possible without leaving out cards that I will probably need at one time or another. What is everyone's preference and opinion on the matter?

Wallet. Before I carried a wallet (kid) I put my money in my pocket. When I started driving, and carrying a wallet, I still put my money in my pocket. The first time I lost a $10 bill in the mall parking lot taking my keys out of my pocket was the day I started putting my money in the wallet.

Wallet. I actually tried a money clip for awhile because I go to a lot of concerts and the wallet was sort of cumbersome - anyway long story short, it doesn't hold enough and I was always fumbling with it. Trusty ol' wallet for me please.

love the money clip. Been carrying the same one my dad gave 28 years ago! I missplaced it once and was freakin' out until I found it. I've got about three spares but the one from my dad is something I would be truly bummed if I lost it for good. Hell, I won't even take it on far away vacations for fear of losing it and never being able to retrace my steps to find it!

I'm kinda attached to it as you can see.

I'm a wallet guy. Provides a nice single place for my credit cards, healthcare card, license and bills - that's it. Nice and slim. A nice Coach wallet is what I use.

I have an engraved Tiffany money clip I got a groomsman gift, but don't use it.

I'm 17 and use a wallet. I can't stand clips. In the summer I just stick a big wad of cash in the pocket (woot go 20 bucks!) and put my license. in with it. I usually wear shorts with deep pockets so it stays inthere.

Have been using a money clip since 1975. I never leave home with out it. Have had a lot of different ones thru the years until a friend of my brother in Juneau, Ak. made one that is like no other.

He is a knife maker that produces very good quality hand made knives for all occasions. Ventures into the money clip market to try to cash in on the tourist trade, when he had a store on Franklin St. Have had it for at least 10 years now. Would be lost without it, never loses tension no matter what amount of money I place into it Although I must fold a dollar several times for it to keep it in place.

I do have a wallet but my money is always placed in a money clip

Neither for me....I just fold my cash and put it in my pocket. I have been doing it that way for over 35 years. Wallet feels like I am carrying a suitcase in my pocket and money clips just don't work for me.....seems like they don't handle both small and large rolls.

I'm a wallet guy. It holds all of those stupid discount cards you now need to shop anywhere. I haven't really don't to worry about losing cash anymore since I never seem to be carrying any when I actually need it.

It's in style now to use both.

Wallet for everything else...Money clip to hold cash, 1-2 credit cards, and your license. Wallet in back pocket, clip in front pocket.

I use a Guess wallet (previously Coach) and love it. I put Guess and Coach side-by-side (when I repurchased) and I couldn't justify spending $50 more for coach :nixweiss

Money clip here. I fold the bills over my license, AAA card, debit card, and one credit card. Been carrying this for so long I'd be all thumbs if I tried to go back to a wallet. I use a very simple sterling clip that's been in my family forever.

I do have various card wallets but I don't carry them regularly, just keep the cards in them for the sake of being organized.

If I need to carry a lot of cash I just keep it in my front pants pocket. Usually I hardly carry any cash, but I keep a few twenties in the glovebox of each vehicle just in case.

wallet. have to have the compartments for credit/membership cards, drivers license, etc... it feels more secure to me then a money clip ever would.

I use a compact money clip/wallet combo. One side is the clip, while the other offers enough space for ID and a debit/credit card. It’s very slim and doesn’t use much space in the jacket or pants pocket.

I also try to carry as little cash as possible . . . a mugger taught me that lesson many years ago :lol
