hey guys,

i got a daily driver a couple weeks ago so that the camaro can go in the garage for a winters nap, when the time comes.

so here it is 2002 sentra. the previous owner took care of the maintenance aspect of things but in terms of paint and interior :angry not soo good.

exterior:

wash - meg's GC

clay - mother's clay ( 1st time, smells like cinnamon )

polish - PB's SSR2.5 via PC on setting 6 with orange sonus

LSP - clearkote's carnauba moose via PC on setting 3 1/2 with blue sonus

engine:

gunk foaming degreaser and CD2 to dress

interior:

scrub carpets and uses Little Green to extract, Bissell's solution and a touch of woolite. Used simple green diluted 20:1 as a pre-treatment. i have some stuff on the left of the brake pedal that would not come out, even on the plastic kick panel :scared:

the passenger seat had either coffee or soda / pop spilled on it, it took me 3x's the time to work on the interior than others. :wall

used meg's trim and dash foam, and i know about the wheel wells ;)

here are the pics,

thanks, it took me 1 hour for the front and rear right side of the car, seats and carpets.

the only thing that pics do not show, is the door panel being kinda scratched, maybe the previous owner had a dog, or they carried stuff

Looks good! Stained interiors on lower priced cars can be tough, with such thin carpet and upholstry, it doesn't take much to make them look really bad....in addition, they also tend to be very tough to clean completely. I think you got about as much as anyone could out of those carpets.

The paint and engine turned out really nice. :)

cd2 is an engine detailing spray. you should be able to find it at any local parts / car care store.

thanks for the kind words guys.

Greg - i know about the wheel wells :wall
