Moderate and Aggressive Compounds, help choosing

AMDin93103

I like cheese.
I need to pick up a few products to fill some voids in my bag of tricks. As the topic states, I am looking for products to fill the moderate and aggressive levels of compounding, mostly via rotary. . . and the Cyclo when permitting. The majority of my clientele is comprised of Mercedes, Audi and BMW. Also, this time of year the weather doesn't effect me so much but often times in the summer the paint is less than cool FWIW.

I've categorized the compounds into two levels of relative aggressiveness. Could you please help me out with which one you would choose for each and a simple why? It would really help me out!

  1. CK Compound, OPT Hyper Compound, Menzerna Powergloss
  2. Einzsett Intensive Paste (Pro Line), OPT Compound, Menzerna Intensive Polish

Thank you.

I have used and like all the Menzerna polishes. They are a quality product albeit expensive. They work extremely well.

If purchasing the Menzerna products I would also add FPll to give you the complete program for an effective paint correcting measure.

I know that you wanted comparison's.....I just have not used the other products that you mentioned. You will not go wrong with Menzerna.

Maybe by bumping this thread someone can give you the complete answer that you are looking for.

I think you did pretty good classifying the compounds, as I've found Hyper to be similar to PowerGloss and IP similar to Optimum Compound, probably giving the intensity edge to Menzerna on both accounts. If I had to choose, I would go with IP and Hyper Compound (Power Gloss is a bit difficult to use).

You may also want a stronger compound, in which case you could go with #84 which is quite a bit stronger than any of the aforementionded products.

Well, I bleed Menzerna abrasives so...........

Dust much?!

I do get the idea that Menzerna Polishes (especially Intensive) perform very well. I have had good results with IP but I am super curious about Einszetts Intensive. I enjoyed the Extra/Ultra whatever from the consumer line but didn't care for the filling and protection it left behind. I think the IPaste may be a sufficient replacement, in theory. Oh, and it's half the price.

I have Menzerna IP and PG so I think I will pick up some OPTHC and Einszett IPaste and compare for myself. . . and post my results. . . for you. I like how you think RAG

Cwcad, I have had the same 32 ounce bottle of #84 for almost 2 years. PM me, I will see if I can break you off a sample.
