Modded 2004 M3

One of the guys from an bmw forum pm'd me about a month ago looking to get his M detailed. This was just an exterior, and I couldnt have had a nicer day to do the work. It was about 60 degrees today, and just perfect out. This is a super nice car in person and the owner is a super cool guy. fwiw, its also supercharged (which is why you see the fmic)

Process was wash, clay, wash, OP, EXP, S100.

**I dont know why, but a lot of these pics came out kinda blurry and just not clear  I think the lense was just a little dirty, but the car was gone and it was dark before I realized it :sadpace:

Wow. Your rims are HOT!!! What kind?

Not my car, but they are rac wheels. I also have rac's on my M3 too oddly enough, just a different model. Rac wheels are probably THE BEST built wheels out there (along w/ champion)

Awesome job, sweet car. He needs some wheel center caps though. :D

Its too bad, I think they really take away from the car. He had obviously put A LOT of money and effort into making his car his own. But its the tiny little details like the center caps that really make a difference.

You did a great job cleaning it up! It really looks great. :2thumbs:

PS - Did you get a ride?

Oddly enough Raul's car isnt terribly fast. :nervous: He is a friend of mine who is sponsored by the shop at which I work. (Rogue Engineering)

The Level 2 kit he has is supposed to produce ~380rwhp, but I would strongly argue that it doesnt make the numbers advertised. Running his car against another high modded, though NA m3 making 300whp would have me believe Raul is making less than 350whp at best.

Regardless, the car is beautiful, and the RAC wheels are better appreciated in person. Prior to this set he has a more "bling" set of IForged wheels, but the RAC are both lighter and stronger...to some (myself included) that is more important. :hifive:

Thanks :) The center caps arent being produced by rac yet afaik, and I think I remember him saying he didnt want to do bmw center caps. I'm sure he'll get some in there as soon as rac has them available though.. he doesnt cut too many corners w/ his car.

I didnt get a ride in it. As much as I love fast cars, I've been in plenty 6-700 rwhp cars so a mid to high 300rwhp doesnt excite me too much. I can say that pulling it in and out of the driveway, the gas pedal is very touchy w/ the sc on there. It would take some serious getting used to.
