Mobile detailers with trailers...

I have a 2003 4 door chevy tracker that I use to pull my 4x8 enclosed trailer for my mobile detailing business. The thing is that the trailer is not leveled with the vehicle (it is on a slight tilt). I'm not sure if I should get a drop hitch receiver or not? One of my customer's told me it was fine the way it is because with it being on a slight tilt alot of the weight is not stressed on the hitch but on the axle of the trailer. I have a Class I hitch by the way. What should I do? :confused:
 
How much of a drop do you think would be needed to level off the trailer? I guess if it's only a few inches it would be ok. I think anything over 6 inches may need a drop hitch but what do I know. I guess a picture on a level surface would help.
 
When I hooked mine up to my Trailblazer, it was tilted bad. I set the tongue on the ball, and it would not lock it. I had to get a 5 1/4 drop hitch. It still has a 3/4 inch tilt...nothing that will hurt anything.

Post a pic up so AI can see just how much it is tilted.

If you are using a straight hitch you can gain a 2" drop by flipping it but,it looks fine the way it is.
 
Yea unless your having problems with driving it or having things in the back fall or roll around, I would say it should be fine.
 
If it were mine I would drop it 2ins. You want the trailer pushing down on the ball not lifting up. The leveler it is the better it will tow. Maybe you can just turn yours over to gain what you need.
