Mobil Detailing: Water Tank Necessary?

I did a quick search and couldn't find any solid answers.

For you mobile guys is a water tank necessary? Do most of you have one? Or do you guys use clients water, or just ONR?

I can see using a tank if cleaning cars at commercial properties such as a business, but I can also see ONR working just fine. But for detailing a car at a client's house I could see the trade-off as being since the client didn't have to come to you, waste gas and such, that it would be ok to use their water and electricity?

What are your guy's opinions on this? And what works best for you?

being Mobile, I use ONR with a 16 gallon tank in the back of my xterra, no trailer!

I use the water for about 5 car washes and a hot water extractor for interior detail work...that is about the most I can get done in a single day alone anyway, so no need to go bigger.

I dont use a generator, so I use clients electricity wherever I am at...

I have a tank in the back of my van. Its actually too big. I can last a while just filling it up to 50 gallons. I mainly use ONR to wash with. Sometimes if their car or truck is really muddy or dirty then I will use the traditional method but 95% of the time I use ONR. You could get away with doing what toyotaguy does, just a small tank, ONR and you are good to go.
