MMmmm...Mother's Showtime QD...

Great smell, and very nice shine. :up



Based on the lab testing by the Mad Scientist blkz28conv I have mixed Mother's Showtime with Poorboy's S&W. Initial results are quite favorable.

Yeah, I like Mothers QD. It is awesome for the price and avalibility, but if you think its good, you gotta try PCM, EFCP, and CKQS

I mixed 60% S&W and 40% Showtime. I had been QDing after S&W anyway, though it really wasn't necessary. Blkz28conv planted the seed in another thread, so I gave it a try. It saves a step. The surface is shiny and smooth. Significantly more so than with S&W or Showtime alone? The jury (judge and jury of 1) is still out.



I do think you will be happy with the S&W, I keep a bottle in my trunk with a MF for those little "accidents". If you want to try mixing the S&W with one of your QDs, proceed and let me know what your results are.
 
Can anyone tell me if it's okay to use Showtime as my regular QD; being able to regularly add a layer of Z2 when Showtime is being used???

I contacted Mothers, and they replied that the QD has no alcohol whatsoever, and will not damage a sytnhetic layer such as Zaino.

I am really happy with Showtime; it's shine and ebdurance are great, it's price is super-low, and I can find it everywhere. Not to mention I can mist and wipe the whole car, before proceeding to buff off the haze. I prefer this to spraying and wiping, like with Z6...

I really like Mother's Instant Detailer too. It came with my clay bar, and I've found I like it alot in between coats of Carnauba.

I actually hate the smell cause it reminds me of some medicine I took as a kid! Unlesssss..............Maybe mom gave me Mothers Showtime! :eek: That WOULD explain a lot!

If you like bananananana, you will love the new Zymol Detailer. It works great with Souveran, Poorboy's EX and P21S/S100. Really good stuff for only $7.:xyxthumbs
 
Why do all of these companies make products that make you hungry! I am starving now! Maybe they also run the food industry rackets?
 
I like ShowTime QD but I feel it sprays heavy/thick and I waste product because I wipe most of the product off with a mf.



Tip: use the Meguiars purple bottle. This bottle sprays a very fine mist. I read on this forum that you can find a fine mist sparyer in the garden department but so far I have not found one.

Yeah, the garden section should have a few of them....if not try a drug store or a hair salon type place. They should have them too for hair.
 
I love the mothers QD.. it just smells soooo good... I use it at car meets and races, because the car gets so much attention because of the way it smells... :D



Oh, now that we're on the subject, has anyone had any problems with the QD streaking and becoming visible in cold weather?



What I mean is, I QD'd my car when it was warm last week, and now it's freezing again, and the car looks really bad because you can see where I QD'd. It' looks really streaky and wierd....
