Mixing z2 and z5

On the website it says you can go back and forth with z2 and z5. I wonder if you could mix the two together when you do your "upkeep" coats every now and then. It would certainly cut down on the time. Anybody try it?

Upkeep layering normally requires some filling of blemishes created by QD'ing, washing, driving,etc. This is best achieved by using Z5 at full strength. As Zane stated, even though both Z2 and Z5 are perfectly mixable, one would dilute each polishes' strength (Z5 -filling/ hiding and Z2's glorious appearance).



Best to apply 1 or 2 coats of Z5 (hopefully Z5PRO very soon :2thumbs: ) which is no slouch in appearance and the PRO beta version which has been updated since my last beta sample will give Z2-PRO a run for its money. :woot2:
 
I like to start most sessions with Z5(PRO beta) x 2 and top with Z2. Can not speak from experience about metallics (I'm a non-metallic guy) but Z5 is as optically clear as Z2 so the flakes will shine bright no matter which you choose to start with. :wavey
 
Z-5 and Z-2 Pro do work very well with metallics-I'm a metallic guy. The most flake pop on my car I have seen.
 
I second that......Z2/Z5 really brings out of the metallic......
