mixing wax with CW soap for quick detail

I read a tip in Griots that if you mix their wax with a certin percentage of car wash you can get a quick detail look. Has anyone ever tried this?

I guess you would just be diluting the wax and wiping it off.

Any opinions would help

Opinion: get some Poorboys Spray & Wipe.

I'd rather use a good QD spray for the quick detail look. If I need something heavier, I go Spray and Wipe.
