May 27, 2007 #4 C coupe New member no point in doing it when using a pc though I dont even do it when using my rotary and a polishing/finishing pad and polish, never seen the point. I do do it when using aggresive pads on my rotary though for some extra lubricity.

May 27, 2007 #5 J joshtpa New member I think it works very well when using a PC. It is kind of like starting in the middle. Meaning that when you start, the pad never moves quite as good as it does when you have done a few panels. I use the XMT pad conditioner and it works great.
