Missouri anyone?

St. Louis, South County in specific.

Griz I can vouch for Brad B. also. I get to enjoy seeing his beautiful cars everyday. :bow

Another STL Autopian here. erok01 I am also in South County near 270 and Tesson Ferry. Glad to hear there are more people in my area. I thought I was alone.

St. Louis City here, 44 and Hampton area

Have you ever stopped by or seen the carwash over by the Hardees? 39.99 for wash and wax, yet I have yet to figure out what they use for the 'wax' step.

Anyway, I work at SLU so I find myself in and around the hill often, nice area.

With my previous car, a 97 Explorer I used to use that car wash all the time. Joe is the owner and is a very nice guy. I think 90% of the public would be very happy with their work, but remember it is not a touchless wash, they do not use microfiber towels to dry (look like terry towels but are pretty beat up) so if you are as particular about your paint as some of the posters are here, then you would not want to use them. I have had them do a hand wax and was happy with the results, but never have been into detailing my car until now. Now I would do the wax myself. They use some commercial liquid wax (can't remember what kind) and a foam applicator. Bottom line, OCD about detailing, don't use them, normal car cleaning person, then you would be fine.

Hello All,

I'm in Jefferson City :work: , for the time being. However, I'm relocating to the St. Louis area soon, my wife and child are already there, and as soon as the house is closed on and I find another job there I'll be there as well :woot:

Sorry for chiming in so late. Yes, I am in St. louis as well. And would be glad to meet fellow car geeks anytime! :woohoo:

Brad,

I met you at your house about 2 years ago. Mike Phillips was in town and held a detail day. I think Forrest even stopped by. I came to learn by observing, but ended up doing most of my car with yours, Lynn and Mike's help. :spot

I also brought the gentlemen with the Vette that Mike Phillips used one of his lab samples on. I think at the time it was Lab Sample "D".

I would be up to attending or I could even host another detail day if someone could do product and technical demonstrations. :waxing:

Mike
