zesty-man
how do ya like it?
Today i woke up at 6:30 to find that it was raining, which meant that i couldnt work on my dad's car. so instead, i had to find alterior motive. i went to my aunty's house, and did some S&W on her car, then started applying some coutours wax. heres my thoughts on the victoria wax.......
it gave me extra clarity and extra depth, however, i felt that i may have sacrificed some reflection for it. not really too much of a problem, especailly for black cars, becuse theyre reflective anyways. also, its not quite as slick as other sealents and canubas. for me, i gave an extra 10%. my review wasn't good enough because i was already working on a car that had been prepped the other week, so it was a bit harder to tell a difference. however, again, there was a difference. as soon as i took the wax off, my first reaction was "wow". from what i can tell, this is a real beauty wax (no kiddin
). probably for personal cars only. i wouldnt bother using it on customers cars because its a tad bit expensive and should probably only be used on a well maintained finish.
i went by both hand and yellow foam app. the wax itself is very soft, so dont get agressive with the foam app, just give it a couple of taps. doing it by hand seemed to give better coverage and a thinner, more even coat. however, after doing a couple of panels, my arm was really starting to feel it, especially in the bicep and tricep. so that why i decided to do about half of the car. i didtn get to do the hood because the sun was already starting to hit the hood
.
ill try to add some victoria wax onto a car that has not been prepped recently, tryin to see the difference it really makes. maybve tomorrow if i get a chance, ill try it. now off to the porsche show, whoohoo! heres a couple of pics of the panels i did. if ya got any questions, just throw em out at me. cya
EDIT: i had bought some victoria wax for my friend too, so ill try to get his response of how he thinks of it too.
