Why do I seem to get water spots on the glass, but not nearly as many on the paint?? I dry all at the same time, have similar protection on both, and the paint has none, or very few spots, while the glass needs AIO'd about every 3rd wash??? :nixweiss

Personally, I would attribute it to the fact that glass has alot more "long lasting" heat-holding ability than the plastic/fiberglass skin pannels of modern vehicles. When you wash with cool water, the body will cool down at a faster rate than the window glass -- therefore that added heat will cause water to dry to it faster than it will to the paint.

Also glass is generally not as "flat/smooth" of a surface as well polished paint, when looked at under a microscope. It could be that there is water still on the glass after you dry, and you just don't see or realize it.
