Miller Lite vs. a Black Miata

2004 Mazda Miata -28K on the clock. I posted this one up for a neighbor -he saw DC for the 'first time' tonight and got a kick out of it. He thinks we're all sick!!! (LOL).

One of my neighbors called me over this evening for a ‘cold one’ and to show off the Mazda Miata that he picked up this spring (nice car). He was wiping down his black paint after a wash, like it was covered with Vaseline –using a bath towel. He’s good company and a very nice person -and will never be a ‘DC’ car fanatic.

He’s the lucky one!!!

After Beer #2, He’s asking me for a ‘quick wax’.

I usually wait until the 3rd beer to ask my wife this question, but I guess he was in a hurry J

I grabbed the keys and made my way home–and quickly shut the garage doors and locked up the house J -JK.

This one took about 2 Hours

Process Used:

Wheels:
-The inner rims were caked with break dust. I used Z6 and a few yellow Costco MF’s.
-Tires: APC wipe down, and protected with Z16
-Wheels: Z6 wipe down / Z2Pro to protect

Convertible Top:
-Z10:1 to Z16:4, applied using a MF applicator.

Paint:
-AIO (Pre-Voc) via PC & a LC polishing pad @ 5 The paint needs some correction, but there was no time for that tonight.
-Z6 wipe down
-1oz of Z2Pro/Z5Pro (50/50) –zfx’d(4 drops) with a pull of Z8 for good measure J
-Dragon Fibre MF & Z6 to wipe down the paint.
-The final pass got Z8 & a Poorboys Mega Plush MF.

A few ‘night’ shots (I finished just after 10:30pm)

Here's the ‘Beer Shot’ (My wife said the pic is blurry -it looks fine to me)

Ahhh the Mazdaspeed Mazda Miata, beautiful car, so too shabby in the performance department. Great job on the detail, that is the cleanest Miata I have ever seen!!
