Mildew And Mold!please Help!

I started a job today that consists of 100 cars that have to be done in 4 days. I am only doing the interior on these vehicles.



here is a quick rundown of what i am up against, These are the personal vehicles of people in the military that have had it shipped to where they were stationed. They are coming back through customs here at our port, and they have been on the ship for who knows how long. These vehicles have mold and mildew all over the interiors! I started on them today and am having trouble getting it COMPLETELY out.. I need some help on what i may be able to find locally to remove this mildew, seeing how i only have till friday to get them all done.



Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Any ideas, home solutions, otc products that you may have used for this before?

Get a dry vapor steamer! For OTC, well if you can hunt down a local place that carries the Meguiars Professional line, grab some APC there.
 
I have used several types of apc, it gets most of it up, but leaves the darker black spots... where would I find a dry vapor steamer..?
 
Dealt with a little mold before....I added a mold and mildew remover to my steamer tank with water and got some great results...

Don't know where you would find them locally. I would check the larger janitorial cleaning places and see if they have one you could borrow or would know.



I have heard some people using Oxy-Clean, but have no personal experience with it.
 
Try Borax. It kills mold and mildew and is a mild cleaner. Heck, you might already have it in the house/shop. Sold everywhere.

Yes, if he's working alone, but for some reason I doubt that.



See if you can find some Microban disinfectant locally. Sometimes I can find it at Sams club or janitorial stores. It works excellent in a fogger/compression pump. I just hope you are able to clean these correctly and not half-*** them because mold can be a major health hazard and I wouldn't want any of our troops getting sick.

And HD sells it and rents the fogger .
 
hey man, i don't know if this will work with cars, okay?





here's a one for you.



1. steal your wife's tea tree oil extract

2. use vinegar



use the vinegar first in a spray bottle then murder those molds.

spray the tea tree oil extract



both these agents contain properties which kill molds.
