I cannot speak for different manufacturers and chemicals but most pure sealants will not achieve a full bond when used over a pure wax.

I usually apply with in 30 minutes to 2 hours after and have never had an issue, but in more adversarial climates (low temps or high humidity) the official recommendation is 8 hours.
 
IMHO (on black) the BFWD/BFMS is that look that you spend all you money on MANY different sealants and waxes to find "Holy Grail".
I actually feel that when you are looking at the black hood you are looking into a pool of water that you could put your hand into.
As stated above I have tried MANY different LSP's including Pinnacle Souveran. PS has a great look, but to me it really attracts dust.
PS looks great but again, IMHO every dust particle within 150 mile radius finds its way on the paint. I have not found this with BFMS.
Are there LSP's that last longer? Sure I could name a few but for the very little time and effort it takes to apply BFMS it's worth it!
 
The consensus seems to be BFWD provides a slickness other sealants are unable to match.

Does topping BFWD with Midnight Sun reduce, maintain or improve the "Slickness Factor" you achieve from the original BFWD application?

IMHO BFMS reduces the "Slickness Factor" but the unique "look" of the BFWD/BFMS "Wet Ice over Fire" combo IMHO is like looking in a pool of calm water.
 
Revival of an old thread I know. But, I share the OPs opinion on MS. Maybe the best looking wax I've ever tried. You gotta love it.
 
MS is one of the easiest waxes ive ever used. It darkens my gray paint and I love the look. Excellent wax.

I have since changed my mind after using MS many more times, it is truly a superior wax.
 
I had a older jar of BFMS which I let a friend use on his older Jeep and he was blown away by how easy it goes on and come off. The shine sold him into using BFMS from now on. The only problem is getting my jar back....:(

Wish it didn't have such a darkening effect since I have white cars. Helped a friend detail his car last weekend which was Agate Gray and we used MS - it was simply terrific. As Dr Oldz indicated, super easy user experience.
 
I have tons of pix - what do u want to see? Unfortunately I just sold the red TSX which is where the "severe" darkening effect occurred. On the agate gray G37, wax looked fantastic.

one thing i always notice about BFMS, is it fills really well if you have some light marring. Its a nice trait for the wax, in addition to its incredible look!
