Midnight Blue Dually!!

Well I decided to attempt a full detail after a repaint on a 98/99 chevy dually!



the whole front end was crashed into an suv that had pulled out in front of him so he decided to have the whole truck repainted!



Well after they painted it I swear they must of used steel wool to wash it cause my god it was horrible!!



This was all done with a PC and OMG let me tell u I swore up and down wishing i had ordered my rotary sooner!!



green/IP@5/6

orange/OP@5 then finished with 3

Klauuse Sg/Hand

souveran/Hand

About 8 hours,, although i took several breaks throughout the day I guess i could have done it in 5/6 hours..

The pc ate my time up It seemed like i was buffing forever...:buffing:



It took 2 passes the spiders to disappear:grrr

Yes, but look at it this way. You achieved unbelievable results with the absolute most gentle process possible, and probably didn't take off anywhere near as much clear as you would have with a rotary. Great job! You definitely proved that it can be done with a PC. :cool:

Yes very true!!



The pc can do alot of work with the right products in the right hands!! :waxing:

thanks I have a Canon 20D stock lens nothing special and the pics are taken in auto mode.



I cropped a bit of em but no post processing at all!
 
You did great with the PC , didn't think you could achieve those results with one. Have to order one for myself sometime soon...

It takes some time and the right products but yes it can be done!!:xyxthumbs
