Just an update on how my polish and wax is holding up. I started this year with Sonus SFX-2 and 3, Sonus SFX Paintwork Cleanser, and followed with a light glaze with Sonus Acrylic Glanz, then topped with Zymol Concours. I have followed up with a few more passes with Concours up to this point...(hope this works!)

So far I believe the wax finish is progressing satisfactorily. I must admit that the new polishes did a phenomenal job of getting the paint in shape before the wax. The result is more clear and sharp as opposed to last year. I am a fan of Zymol's intensity, but I must say that the polish IMO greatly enhanced the wax's attributes.

We will see in the fall months how the finish is holding up. Happy Waxing!

Very nice. Ya gotta love the SS. It's always interesting to me to see the neighborhood backgrounds in photos people post. That looks so radically different from anything I have ever seen, or lived in. I would like to go to New York one day. Looks like an interesting place.

BEAUTIFUL work Lester!! The car looks awesome!! :xyxthumbs

The background shots of Queens gave me a rush of memories back to my Brooklyn days!!

I dont understand why chevy dropped the camaro....it was the only chevy(besides the vette) that has some american ingenuity still left in it.

Nice work !

Lawn.....lol...funny you should mention it haha!!! Thanks!!

Oh and let me not get into how GM dropped the ball on the F-Body or else this will be a long paragraph!!

I like looking in the backgrounds of photos as well, and couldn't help but notice that the guy in the background of this one looks like he's cleaning his windows in a bio-hazard suit! :D

Thanks everyone!! As one of my favorite sayings goes, you're never too old or experiened to learn. Just seeing the good examples here on the board inspires you to scrutinize your detailing steps and take them (and your paint) one step further!!

Knew I forgot something. I have Poorboy's tire detail on the tires, and blue magic polish topped with p21s on the aluminum wheels. Thanks.
