I use a natural sea sponge. They are non abrasive, and they absorb debris up into their center.
I've used them for years. They cost more than sheepskin mits and mico mits, but they are far better.
Keep in mind that when the sponge is new - prior to its first use, rinse it well to get rid of any ocean debris that the sponge may have .
