Microfiber towels?

just curious if anyone has towels from microfiber tech and how the quality is... i need some new towels for quick detailing and wondering if these will be sufficent and absorbent enough also how about the df concours towels... they are like triple the price but are they really worth it and how much more absorbent are they
 
While I don't have any first hand experience with either of the two products you mention, I have heard only good things about both.

One thing I will mention, everyone should have a few of the really plush towels.

Some examples would be:
Detail City Store Silky Smooth,
Poorboy's Mega Plush,
Cobra Super Plush Deluxe.

Actually, I have no idea if they are really any better than some of the others, but just the feel of them makes them worth the money. You will want to use them on yourself instead of your vehicle. Well, maybe not quite, but they are definitely something special. :)

With the exception of the towels I use for windows, yes.
Since I use old terry towels for dressings, my MF towels have only wax, sealant or polish in them.
I don't think I would wash all my towels together. I would be concerned that some of the dressings could leave some streaking on paint.
I have decided that using the same towels for windows that you use for sealant/wax was leaving some haze on the windows that wasn't esay to get rid of. Looked great right after, but a film seemed to show up a day or two later. It doesn't seem to be happening with dedicated glass towels.

I wash my window towels seperate from the other microfiber. Don't wash microfiber with anything that lints or you will mess them up. The only other thing I wash my microfiber with are the synthetic chamois.

i do , but i wash them a couple times, add APC to the second round of washing and put them through the rinse cycle 2-3 times too :)
