Microfiber for polish removal?

TAKE A SHORT KNAP!

the super duper plus von plush meister type towels are terrible for buffing off polish IMO, and are relatively useless for pretty much all parts of a detail but really use a SMOOTH, Short knap MF IMO works best for buffing off polish

I am with Dave on this. I only use short nap towels for polish and wax removal. I leave my fluffier towels for QD'ing etc.

I find that the orange Target Vroom towels work perfect for polish removal. Their short nap is perfect.

Wow, tons of great information. Thanks very much.

I was using traditional microfiber towels, like the originals that came out, as we all know microfiber towels last forever and these things are like 5yrs old.

Noticed last year that they were grabbing on the polish and would not take it off easily.

This year I am going with the PS Microfiber buffing cloth and the Megs supreme shine. Also want to try the two step method I read about using a low knap micro to take the initial polish away then going over again with a high knap micro to finish it off.

Thanks again for the help :cornut:
