Micro-restore Review

So I have had this stuff sitting on my self for a while now. I haven’t needed to really use it, a good washing with tide has done the job. However recently I noticed that my drying towels were not working so well. Today was a cold day so instead of detailing my ride (even though it needs it) I decided to give my mf a good cleaning. It’s a good think I did to; they were very very dirty and very clogged. So they are in the wash right now, so i decided I had some time to do a review

Product: Micro-restore

Price: (cant remember who I bought it from so we will use the AG price) 9.99

Size: 16 oz

Link: Micro-Restore doesn’t just clean microfiber, it restores microfiber! Concentrated Microfiber Detergent

Directions as per package: For full loads add 2 ounces, for smaller loads add one oz. Squeeze bottle..... (not important, just tells how to use the bottle) for heavily soiled products add 1 ounce to 5 gallon bucket filled with water let soak

How I used: I added 1 oz of the mirco-restore to the bucket (still leaving the grit guard in), placed the mf in the bucket. Then I filled with hot tap water. I let soak for about 10 minutes and went back to see how it was looking. I noticed that the bucket was only half full now, It turns out that the clothes were so clogged they had trouble soaking up water (when I placed the WW in the bucket with water they stayed dry for a about 20 seconds). I then filled the rest of the bucket up.
I had to get to some stuff so I left the mf in the bucket for 2 hours. (I just says let soak, but not for how long). When I looked at the bucket I was shocked. All these mf clothes were washed prior to this (and waiting to be used), they all appeared to be nice and clean. The water in the bucket had turned brown. The water under the grit guard was so dark I couldn’t see the grit guard, it was hidden.
I then proceeded to pull the clothes out one at a time, wring them out and place them in a dry, clean tub. I emptied the bucket filled with dirty water. I then placed the mf in the washing machine with the required tide liquid and 1oz of micro-restore (I thought what’s the harm it just sat in this stuff for over 2 hours).
Ok so the wash cylix is done and I dried only a few clothes to give them a shot. I did a quick qd test on my friends clean ride, the mf sucked up the qd leaving no streaking (i used megs qd). This is something I didn’t think was possible any more, i thought it was only something new clothes could do before a washing.

Micro-restore made the clothes look and work much better. I have to say i was very impressed with the results

Pros: Cheap, easy to use, does a very good job

Cons: I cant think of any big ones. I don’t know if it will compromise the clothes but I’m not sure so I cant say.

Would I recommend this? Yes I sure would, it may save those old mf's and save some money on new ones.

Final thoughts: This product was awsome, I loved it. It did exactly what it said. For the price i would say everyone should give it a shot. I would not use it every wash but I think every time i notice that the clothes are starting to clog or when i do some heavily wax removal. I would give this product 4/5 stars just because I don’t know how it works long term.
Sorry I have yet to try any other mf rejuvenators so I cant compare. I have some of the pinnacle stuff sitting on my self so I will have to give that a shot on some of the other mf's I have

Thank you for reading
