Micro Fiber vs. 100% cotton cloth for QD

older towels from the supposed "older" batch and newer towels from the "newer" batch as well as different brands of MF including

Nicsands, Targets, Vipers, TOL's and others and TOL's are the only ones that don't "lint". Obviously it's a problem as this has been posted every week as an issue for some. Believe me Sir, I don't make rash judgements, I test and re-test for months before

making a statement unless I make a preliminary statement, which is just that. I've bought various MF towels (I am going to pick up some of yours also, as we have corresponded before) and was disapointed in most of them except for the TOL, and even that towel did not significantly beat cotton, only in some areas such as glass and finishing. Forget about drying a whole car, they won't do it. I want to like MF, I really do but I find that they sit in my trunk while I grab a cotton towel for 90% of my detail work. For the cost of MF, it seems as if they give "diminishing returns". I can't even see them lasting through "hundreds of washings" as most manufacturers tout, after a month or so mine seem to be getting slightly thinner, although they still retain their cleaning ability. I simply think MF is waaaaaay overrated to me, and that's just my opinion, which pretty much means nothing!
