Micro Fiber Towels

Anyone here use Simple Green as a TIRE cleaner only? I know that some members have had problems with Simple Green on alloy wheels, but no one has mentioned anything about using it on tires.

I've tried Castrol Super Clean biodegradeable degreaser on tires before and I was amazed at all of the brown filmy gook that came off the tires. It even left a glazed look. I don't know if this a good thing for the tires though because it worked pretty aggressivly. Give it a try if you need a little more muscle for degreasing than Simple Green.

I have used simple green with pretty good success on tires, but on Michelin LTX MS tires, it seemed to leave brown streaks, not dirt, but stained.

I have used it, too. Works fine, and really does get off the grime. I used the Simple Green Automotive degreaser, not the general cleaning one.

Has NE1 tried Westley's Bleach-White for their tires. I have raised white letters on the tires for my truck and its seems to clean them very well. It also does a pretty good job on the tire itself.

I used to use Bleche White, until I was told that the bleach or whatever in it turned tires grey. It does do a good job of keeping white letters white, but I still dont use it anymore.

<strong class='bbc'>For those Simple Green Tire users: How much do you dilute it? [/b]</blockquote>
I read Simple Green's documentation on their website and they recommended "full strength" when using it on tires. I guess with all that grime on the tires, diluting it is not as effective.

Bleche White ruins the tires. I have a big bottle that I used on someone else's tires once, and now I don't know what to do with it. It's bad and it turns the tires gray fast. Any tire cleaner with bleach is bad, unless it has whitewalls. But considering all the white walled tires we see, I have to say stay away from Bleche White. It's the NicSand MF of tire cleaners.

towelprosdotcom.

16 x 24 microfiber very nice, soft, have used them and they work great.
$2.00 each for a very short time before they go up to $8.00 each.
