Is this thread closed, or did everyone move away from Michigan?!



Can't say I'd blame them.



Damn, the sun is shining and I can see every swirl in my soft Honda paint. :face:



Looks like there still aren't any good detailers in the Lansing area. Last local shop that worked on my car burned through the paint in a few spots - and they are the most "upscale" place around.

Hi there Paul. I can assure you there are still those in Michigan that can treat your car right. We have quite a few clients around the Lansing area. Let me know if we can be of any help and lets hope for better weather soon!
 
Marc, I just met Paul over the weekend and supposedly you guys already gave him a quote as well :lol:



Turns out he lives about 5 minutes from me!

Remember sooner is always better: by the time it's warm, he'll be booked and you'll want to be out driving!
 
Hey guys - Is there some detailing meet in Mid-Michigan? I'm in Lansing and would love to get together.



I have scheduled a detail on my car for next weekend if anyone wants to join and share tips and tricks.

I'm not aware that there is any sort of "detailing" meet in the area; perhaps later this summer we could look at putting something together. Good to see another member from Lansing!
 
Been on this site for a while, from southeast MI. Don't know of any meets for detailing, but there are some fun runs that are put together. I typically head up one in the Whitmore Lake/Jackson area a few times a year. In the past we've done some quick washes and BBQs following the run.
 
Bumping a thread that hasn't been bumped in two months - to give props to Charlie for doing a great job on my car today.



LOL - lord knows he had to deal with some crap from the body shop's mess!



Thanks, Charlie - car looks great. (Now if I can just figure out where that clunking is coming from!)
